1000 Coffee Seedlings Planting is my Startup initiative to standout from the political campaign by government to promote coffee cultivation and exportation from Plateau State, Nigeria. Farmers lost years of farming to startup coffee farms in 2004 because government didn't stay through to their campaign. My few years of collecting coffee from these farmers, reveal this danger of loosing supply of green bean from them. Because the farmers have abandon coffee for the cultivation of other crops. To keep the supply of green coffee, for the local market which are largely Americans and Europeans serving in Jos Nigeria and the new market that I intend to explore within Nigeria, helped me to see this opportunity to start this campaign which will go a long way to inspire farmers to own the coffee business.
